Come in and see our make-over!! The look is great and the prices even better!

People for Drug Free Youth has been building a better community for the children of Southeast Volusia County for more than 26 years. Dedicated to supporting programs and services that operate in and for New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Oak Hill and Samsula, the organization generates most of its income from the operation of the Drug Free Youth Thrift Store located on Old Dixie Freeway in New Smyrna Beach near the Beacon Theatre. Helping youngsters make positive life choices is the ultimate goal of the organization.

Guided by a Board of Directors composed of educators, law enforcement experts, parents, and other concerned citizens, the organization supports community education, youth recreational programs, college scholarships and other reward programs, and programs that facilitate drug law enforcement. In addition, financial support from People for Drug Free Youth makes it possible to keep a Plus Program counselor in New Smyrna Beach Middle and High Schools while other schools in Volusia County share the services of counselors. For more information on the Plus Program, see the Community Resources page.

In addition to the donations of usable furniture, clothing, household goods, artwork, electronics, craft supplies, books and records, and small appliances, People for Drug Free Youth also accepts cash donations to further its mission to the community. All contributions to People for Drug Free Youth may be tax-deductible.

Donations can be dropped off at the Thrift Store at 1431 Old Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.
